Sony will not be offering a UMD passport service in the US. Currently in Japan, users can get their UMD games to Vita downloadable copies for around $6.50 – $13. That means you will not be able to transfer any of your existing UMD games from the PSP to the Vita.
Otterbox announced they are going to develop an iPad 2S or iPad 3 Defender series case whenever it is announced. The defender series case is one of the most rugged of its kind. It can definitely take a lot of damage.
Target will be introducing Apple mini stores (similar to Best Buy) to 25 of their retail stores. Do you think this is bad for Apple? I understand that they want to get out to reach more customers where they’re own retail stores aren’t located but Target? I know Target is about popular brands and designer labels but Apple has a certain image in peoples mind. Who wants to see a Macbook Air with a pair of diapers laying next to it. Apple stores are neat and very well displayed stores. But with Target managing it you’ll see broken screens/messed up keyboards or messed up displays from customers. Did Apple just jump the shark? What are your thoughts?
Here is a recent review video I did for a screen protector for an iPhone 4/4S. I don’t recommend this product because (as shown in the video) the shield did mis-align and did have bubbles. Of course, they do say that the bubbles will leave within 24 hours. However at $19.99 I can’t really say this is a good buy.
I get this question alot. When Straight Talk first came out all its phones worked on the Verizon network. Slowly, Straight Talk started introducing GSM phones which kind of confused its users. People would buy a Straight Talk phone and believe it was Verizon when they were actually getting AT&T/T-mobile. So, for those uninformed how do you actually tell these phones apart? It’s simple really.
If the phone model number ends with a “C” then it is CDMA and that would mean it was a Verizon service phone. (not in all cases.. more on that below!)
If the phone model number ends with a “G” then it is GSM and that would mean it was either an AT&T/T-mobile service phone.
The only phones that ends with a “C” and are actually not Verizon phones are the Android line of Straight Talk phones. At this time those phones only use the Sprint network.
I hope that straightens out the issue on what service is with what Straight Talk phone.
*Note: The same idea above also works on all Tracfone and Net10 devices.
Vizio introduced Ultrawidescreen HDTV at CES last month and now we know how much the 58 inch model is going to cost. The new Ultrawidescreen HDTV will cost $3,499. The 58 incher will boast a 21:9 aspect ratio when your television at home is most likely 16:9. The resolution of this new tv will be set at 2560×1080 resolution with a 120HZ Edge LED screen. It will also have Internet Connectivity that you’ve come to expect from Vizio. Looking at the picture above and the video below these televisions truly look awesome and if 58 inches isn’t enough for you then a 71 inch one is also planned.
If you have bad cell service at your home, job or you just want to use data instead of your voice minutes than I have an Android app for you. First you need an Google Voice account and must get a phone number through Google to use. The Google Voice number and account is completely free. Now, download Groove IP from the Android Market for $4.99. Once you’ve done this just sign into Groove IP with your Google Voice username/password and when someone calls your GV number it will route to your phone using no voice minutes. That means you can make/receive unlimited calls (through Groove IP app) on your phone as long as your around WiFi. This app does have an option to use 4G/3G speeds as well but it doesn’t work as well.
2. Once installed, search for BrandonTypesHere and download our app!
IMPORTANT: Remember to check Unknown Sources under Applications in the Settings menu on your phone or you will not be able to download the appstore or brandontypeshere app.
